Tiny Totos at UNESCO Mobile Learning Week 2020!
Tiny Totos Kenya was proud to have been asked to run a workshop describing our tech-enabled COVID distance learning programme before a global audience at UNESCO’s Mobile Learning Week 2020 (MLW2020) earlier this month. The programme which provides a practical, cost effective, accessible solution to help low income families keep their children learning during COVID consists of a hybrid of high and low tech components including a physical activity pack, audio guide clips, daily texts, video clips and weekly radio show. Families also receive regular support calls from our expert team to track their development programme and provide feedback on the content, to help us continuously improve delivery.
MLW 2020 was set against the backdrop of the education sector’s response to the disruption caused by COVID-19, with the objective of shining a light on prospects for technology-enabled futures of learning.
Mobile Learning Week is the United Nations’ flagship event on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, and has been organized by UNESCO and its partners for the past eight years.
