About

Tiny Totos is creating Africa’s largest network of quality, profitable childcare givers, helping vulnerable young children reach their potential during critical development years.

We do this by partnering with informal babysitters and turning them into profitable childcare entrepreneurs.

Through a user-focused intervention model consisting of training, peer network and investment designed to upgrade standards, foster business sustainability, and deliver improved care to children.

Childcare is an economic enabler. When parents — especially women — have access to reliable care, they can work, grow their income, and pursue new opportunities.

In many rural and agricultural settings, access to childcare remains limited due to distance, informality, and seasonal work patterns.

Tiny Totos is working to close this gap. Through our corporate childcare advisory work across East Africa and our contribution to the Rwanda childcare toolkit, we are piloting solutions that expand access to quality care for rural communities.

To ensure 1m women and children in Africa enjoy access to reliable, safe, affordable and quality care by 2030.
